Shave Dallas is a benefit to help raise money for the battle against cancer. Our challenge is to see how much money people can raise from their families, friends, work, etc to get their heads shaved in honor of all that have been touched by cancer.
Everyone, whether they know it or not, has been affected by cancer. This disease, no matter the type, takes a toll on one’s body and on the people around them. Some are able to win the fight, where many others are not.
The purpose for Shave Dallas is to create an event where everyone can come together to have fun and give to the fight against cancer if they haven’t been able to before. Pictures and video will be shot of all participants who have raised money for the shaving. These will put them on the site, allowing others to witness the event. We will have a raffle, bands playing, artist who will be creating and selling their art and much more.
So please come out July 31st, have fun and help us join in the fight against cancer.
I might consider volunteering, but you didn’t post any info (that I could find) about the types of volunteer opportunities. Also, there is no start/end times for the event!

Start time is around 7p on July 31st, and we need volunteers to help set up and break down, as well as serve beverages. We will probably need help with the art auction and someone to collect raffle tickets and other little odd jobs. We’re still working out the details, but the more hands on deck the better! We would appreciate any time you can give us, and there will of course be time to enjoy the event and the people!
